An educational/cultural meeting in celebration of Juneteenth.
During this year’s Juneteenth celebration, the panelists will discuss key aspects of tracing, uncovering and safeguarding their family heritage, while enriching their understanding and appreciation of their lineage.
The event will also include a personal reflection while listening to stories of lesser known black history, including a discussion and activities related to documenting family history.
Pre-registration is required. Space is limited. Register early.
You must be 19 years of age or older to attend.
The majority of supplies are included, however a minimal supply list will be emailed to participants prior to the meeting.
